| Liberians from the Kpablee District, Nimba County Meet Under The Heavy Snowstorm To Design A Plan Of Action To Help Their District | | Print | |

Participants came from several regions with proposed Plan of Action to advance an effective leadership for KDA in the US. The participants resolved that the survival of any organization is based on an effective leadership supported by an effective and energetic membership. Dr. Adam Lewee Kar who facilitated the seminal, said in his opening remarks that KDA is ready to be effective and active in implementing the objectives of KDA. “The first sign of our readiness is our being on time today. We beat the fear of the SNOWSTORM and the actual three days of snowstorm to be here and on time for that matter. Our keynote speaker Mr. Jabateh Randolph did not walk in late either, a sign of an effective leader.
“My brothers and sisters of KDA, the development of Kpablee District in Nimba County is a huge task that requires lot of money, lot of money you do not have. From all I have said today, I just want for you to accept that an organization such as yours should continue to upgrade the organization’s profile daily and should network with other organizations to carry out some of your activities. KDA President Gabriel Wehjla, and Board Chairman Ben Saywahn pledged to continue their cordial working relationship for an smooth operation of KDA. Participants declared to participate in KDA’s next event, which will be held in New York City, Saturday, April 24. This event will be a seminal that will address the need for a science and technical high school in Kpablee District. The keynoter and venue will be announced later. In addition, the topic on managing a successful website will be presented. The public is invited to participate in the next KDA’s upcoming event.
