Written by George Solo

I am George Solo, a son of Chien District in Grand Gedeh County, born unto the union of Col. Joseph D. Solo retired, and Lucinda Wade Solo, deceased of pleebo Maryland County respectively; Cornell and Harvard educated and presently a regional bank executive in Africa, and a CDCian....Mighty Congress for Democratic Change. Written by James W. Harris
Thursday, 02 February 2012 11:59

Liberia certainly has enjoyed a semblance of peace and stability in recent years, especially in the last six.   Some Liberians quickly attribute this atmosphere to their incumbent President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

In their eyes, her stewardship of their country is directly tied to it.  They blindly believe that her leadership has particularly contributed to their nation’s present stability.  Her supporters also believe that by exerting her “woman power” on the country during her first full term in office, she has almost brought the nation full circle.
