The Secretary of the Federation of Nimba Youth and Student Organizations Mr. Teeko T. Yorlay has questioned the of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for omitting portion of the Amendment to the Ratification Act of the Mittal Steel Concession Agreement when it was being printed into handbill.

Mr. Yorlay who is also a presidential hopeful in the upcoming University of Liberia Student Union elections averred that the omitted portion of the amendment gives exclusive control over the Community Development Funds to the people of the three (3) counties of Nimba, Bassa and Bong. He said such heartless omission of such a significant portion of this agreement speaks loudly and clearly of the evil intent and sinister motive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take away control over the Community Development Fund from the people for whom the funds are intended and arrogate such control to nobody, thereby creating room for confusion in the future. This would militate against the interest of the counties involved. He termed the act as criminal and an attempt to falsify such important document that has the development and future of the counties tied to.

Yorlay is calling on President Sirleaf to immediately investigate this matter as failure to do so will be construed as a sanctioned government action which does not speak well of our blossoming democracy that President Sirleaf and others labored for and others even died in the process.

Based upon such anti-people centered and diabolical omission which speaks loudly of dishonesty, Yoraly is also calling on the caucuses of Bong, Bassa and Nimba to coalesce in exorcising the demon of dishonesty and shenanigans that characterized the omission process that he thinks is deliberate so as to expose those behind such devilish enterprise to deny his people the right and power to control of their own money.
